Abstract
On the basis of the analysis of archival materials activity of the Chernigov regional botanical garden in its existence (1946–1963) is shined. The main reasons and stages of its decline and destruction are given. This nature protection territory needs restoration of landscape park in the status of regional landscape park and partially – sites of a botanical garden in the long term.
