Abstract
The results of investigation of vegetative and reproductive shoots structure of epiphytic orchid Coelogyne massangeana Rchb. f. are given. It was shown that shoot of C. massangeana is vegetative and generative types simultaneously, i.g. inflorescence axis comprises the direct elongation of vegetative part of shoot and inflorescence is terminal. Developmental type of in florescence and strict functional specialization of each shoot within shoot system of C. massangeana were specified. The zone of renewal buds localiz ation is determined. The flowering phenology of C. massangeana plants under glasshouse conditions is described.
