Abstract

Data concerning vitality of 16 tropicogenic orchids genotypes during long cultivation without replanting are given. It is determined, that in such a way it is possible to conserve for a long time valuable orchid's genotypes in vіtro and cutting of work input on their cultivation. A series of adaptive strategies of test plants to the conditions of long cultivation without replanting were found during the experiment. The strategies became apparent first of all in the form of various morphological and physiological rearrangements.
