Abstract
The Nikita Botanical Gardens have made great work on introduction of canna. The Garden’s collection includes 5 species, 42 varieties and hybrid forms. The assortment of the most decorative plants has been selected for landscape gardening of cities. New varieties were bred on this base. Some of them were handed to State Varietal Testing.
