Abstract

Screening test of the ethanol and water soluble allelochemicals from 8 species of introduced plants as to their allelopathic activity to quack-grass has been conducted. The species (sunflower Helianthus annuus L., tobacco Nicotiana silvestris L., dock Rumex patientia × R. tianschanicus A. Los., dragonhead Dracocephalum moldavica) promising for further investigation of putting them into practice for allelopathic clearance of quack-grass in agrocenoses have been revealed.
